Where the retest usually lives
The retest is not always the exact tip of the old level. Treat it as a zone.
After a break, prior resistance can become support (or the reverse). The useful area often spans the break candle’s body through the old structure edge.
In Site Valley Base classes we shade that band and wait for reaction inside it rather than chasing a single tick.
If price slices the band with no pause, we treat the idea as incomplete and move on.
