Studying failed breaks without drama

False breaks are part of the curriculum, not a personal failure.

We keep a scrapbook of failed breaks from homework charts. Patterns of quick return and weak volume (when available) teach faster than one lucky continuation.

Invalidation language should be written before you care about the outcome: for example, “Idea off if price closes back inside the range on this timeframe.”

Bring failed examples to the clinic—they are often more instructive than clean winners.
